Women’s History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

We plan to celebrate all month long – in as many ways, with as many people as possible. Thank you to “Dining For Friends” for laying the groundwork for this very successful fundraising strategy. Voice for Choice urges you to plan a gathering with your friends to celebrate the women in your life and the women who have changed the world. Below are some examples of pop up parties.

WHY are we doing this?

  • EDUCATE the public about Reproductive Rights
  • ADVOCATE for Reproductive Justice
  • DONATE to Planned Parenthood & Carolina Abortion Fund

Begin with the END in mind. Determine

  • WHERE you will have your party
  • WHEN in March it will occur
  • WHO you will invite
  • WHAT you will do at your event
  • HOW you will cover expenses

March dates to consider

  • International Women’s Day March 8
  • Saint Patrick’s Day March 17
  • Spring Equinox March 20
  • New moon March 23
